Historically, satellite avionics have relied on distributed architectures where each core function is governed by independent, discrete logic circuits. This legacy design inevitably results in severe system complexity, excessive cabling, redundant weight, and inflated manufacturing costs.

Cocophyllis introduces an architectural breakthrough by integrating telemetry, command, on-board computing, and mission communications into a single, radiation-tolerant system-on-chip: The Cocophyllis Satellite AP (Application Processor). This monolithic approach drastically reduces payload volume, eliminates parasitic mass, and minimizes mission-lifecycle expenditure.

  • Main Computing Processor: Radiation-tolerant multi-core computing core executing flight dynamics, orbital calculations, and real-time mission task scheduling.
  • Image Processor: Dedicated hardware acceleration engine supporting on-board high-speed image preprocessing, compression, and feature extraction.
  • Baseband & Communications Processor: Integrated multi-band transceiver processor delivering agile modulation/demodulation for high-throughput space-to-ground links.
  • Connectivity & Memory Support: Fault-tolerant high-speed aerospace bus interfaces with ECC-protected memory controllers.

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Transceiver ASIC

Engineered specifically for low Earth orbit (LEO) small-satellite constellations, Cocophyllis and its strategic partner network have co-developed a specialized Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Transceiver ASIC.
